Embassy Inn

Embassy Inn

8/10 Good
"Everything was great except without the air conditioning the room was very hot. The air conditioner was so loud though that it was not possible to sleep with it on. Other than that we very much enjoyed our stay."

"We liked having plates, cutlery and a toaster. I would suggest putting up a sign on the cupboard that clients are responsible for washing dishes. It was unclear to us especially since there was no dish soap. Parking is very congested but, it is free."

Huntingdon Hotel and Suites

Huntingdon Hotel and Suites

8/10 Good
"This is a very conveniently located hotel within easy walking distance of Fisherman’s Wharf and the harbour. There is ample parking which is easy to access and reasonably priced. The hotel is well kept and staff are helpful and pleasant. Our room was clean, spacious and well-equipped and the bed was very comfortable. The room was dark and quiet at night making it easy to sleep. However, breakfast was disappointing which is why I have only given the hotel 4 stars; the tea was already made and so was very stewed, the pastries were cold and chewy, the scrambled egg was cold. Despite that, this is a good hotel overall and I would recommend it for a stay in Victoria."

"Convenient location within walking distance of downtown and secure paid underground parking nearby. Comfortable, clean rooms with nice touches including Occidentale products, welcome San Pellegrino beverages, Lavazza coffee maker and free morning coffee/tea and fresh fruit in lobby. Also love the adjoining Palms bar and restaurant."

The Latch Inn

The Latch Inn

10/10 Excellent
"The location was nice with easy access to Sidney and local restaurants. The property was clean and well appointed. We loved the lounge area and outside patio. The breakfasts were good, the spinach Benedict was excellent. Staff was very helpful although their hours were limited. Parking was offsite but only a quick one- minute walk through a garden to the site. We enjoyed the Library Suite which was large and had its own sitting area. Only negative comment is that the exterior could use some maintenance and landscaping."
