I believe a hotel has one job: To ensure your stay is comfortable. We came here for our anniversary and opted to stay in the "luxury suite"o (r. This suite was next to the continental breakfast station but we assumed the hotel knew what they were doing. Wrong. We were woken up before 7 with sounds of cupboards banging and dishes clinking as an employee prepared the continental breakfast. This continued the entire mornings as chairs and tables knocked against the wall and children crying. We heard it all and it was loud! When we went to complain, all the male employee said was "oh, we've heard" and "nothing I can do about it now". They were able to move us into another room much later in the day but so many things wrong. The employee was exceptionally rude. I understand this isn't necessarily his fault but he was also the one preparing breakfast. We weren't offered anything but a room change "once the maid got around to cleaning it". Plus, the hotel shouldn't let the room stay occupied or at least offer it to people who are getting up early anyway. We were the first ones to check in so it wasn't for the lack of space.

The property was tucked away a bit from the central part of town, so more peaceful

We were placed in an add on section, sparsely built. Granted, the hotel was full, but we were housed with a younger group. The building reeked of pot! Walls were not very soundproof. On the positive side, the bed was comfortable, good tv, close to a nice pub, and outstanding view.

I loved the view of the harbour. We needed an extra chair in our room ,as well bathrobes would have been welcome
