I was very upset when the front desk would not honour the price I booked the hotel at which was $473 instead she said there was nothing she could do and charged me $607. I had no choice but to take it. But I’m very upset and will not return

I booked this hotel for its closness to BC Place Stadium as we had tickets to see the Rolling Stones. I also noticed that the hotel jacked the prices up over 300$ per night for the time we we stayed there compared to this week. Absolutely a cash grab !! I've stayed in many hotels over the years but this one had to be the worst !! As soon as we opened the door, it reaked of cannabis and cigarettes. To pay almost 1500$ for a 2 night stay and have this happen was over the top for my family. It was my brother's 65th birthday on July 4th so this wasn't at all what I expected. I called down to let the desk know and they sent up a person with an odorizer unit to purge the room. It lasted 20 mins before that musty cigarette smell came back and by this time we had already unpacked. The sheets had stains on them and the toilet roll was half used with no other one in sight. The AC was barely working so the room was super hot and it was hard to sleep at night for us. The carpet had chip crumbs on it from the previous guests and the baseboards were literally covered in dust. The room windows were also so dirty that it was hard to see through them. I'm never one to complain but this just broke me as a man to do this to my family and have them stay in this room. We should have asked for an immediate change of room but we were exhausted as we came from Vancouver island that morning. On the day of the concert, one of the elevators broke down and now all the guests were sharing one elevator

I emailed the hotel but did not hear back. I would not stay here again based on the cleanliness of the room. There were blood and make up stains on the sheets and a pair of used underwear from a previous guest left in the room. There was no one at the front desk when we checked out to tell this information to. Again I am disappointed that it was not up to clean standards and that no one has been in contact with me about the gross things in the room. For over $400 a night I expect the room to at least be clean. Would not recommend.

Sandman is a great hotel. The elevators are obnoxiously slow would be my only tiny complaint. Rooms are nice and clean and the staff is amazing. (Looking at you Darar!)

We enjoyed our stay. Loved that we were able to grab drinks and appys at the shark club and then walk to rogers arena for a concert :) The air conditioner could have worked better. Definitely staying again

My only major complaint about the hotel was the lack of air-conditioning. I was moved to three different rooms and with the air conditioners running it never got down below 84°. It was actually warmer outside than it was in the room. Eventually on my last night, they moved me to a room where the air conditioner was working and it was finally able to get some sleep.

The property seems a bit outdated. Our AC in the room kept making loud noises time to time so could not sleep well. The staff did not provide bottle water every day even if we purt sign out to restock. When we arrived the first night there were only 2 water bottles even if the reso was for 4 people. Other then that it was okish.
