"We thoroughly enjoyed this historic hotel. Everything was neat, clean and convenient. The staff was very friendly and accommodating "

"Our room was clean and nice. However, just walking through the hallways, the floors were dirty and needed to be swept. It gave a negative impression of the hotel at first sight. The air conditioning in our room did not work and it was 80 degrees in there. It took the staff a while to find us a new room, but they did upgrade to a larger room, which was the proper response for our inconvenience and was appreciated. Even the hallways on the upper floors were hot. Those were our only complaints. Other than that we were satisfied."
