Beautiful hotel, great location and good restaurant. Probably the best room service breakfast we have ever had. Only downside was the valet situation was a mess. But we complained and the charge was taken off our bill
We went to explore Playhouse Square. The Wyndham is right there. We saw a play, we had several great meals at very good restaurants. We rode the free trolleys, and learned how to take the bus. The hotel also has a free shuttle which we used. The breakfast was not free, but it was always good, especially the orange juice. The staff were friendly and accommodating.
The hotel would also be good for either baseball or basketball fans, both the field and the arena are close by.
Loved the location. Really comfortable beds. Cool old building with large rooms and hardwood floors in the room.
Loved all of the little perks (popcorn in lobby, late night cinnamon rolls, etc.)
Wonderful value and I would stay here again.
A former industrial powerhouse on the southern edge of Lake Erie, Cleveland is known today for its service economy. It is also home to Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame. The Cleveland Cavaliers (NBA) play at Quicken Loans Arena and the Cleveland Indians (AL) at Progressive Field – both venues are downtown. Art lovers flock to the Cleveland Museum of Art in the nearby University Circle neighborhood.
