From the time we dropped our car off with the valet, through drinks, dinner, dancing at the Vault, overnight, breakfast, and checkout, our stay at the 9 could not have been nicer. The rooms are contemporary and comfortable, with imaginative honor bars and other amenities, and the staff was one of the most helpful and friendliest that I've ever encountered. I celebrated my birthday here with my kids from out-of-town, and they were so impressed -- I felt proud of my city. My husband and I will be back!

Converted from an old bank, the layout of the hotel is odd (but an okay "odd"). The rooms are big and clean. The included breakfast is okay (but nothing special, but hey, it's free so no complaints!). It's close to a couple of the big sports stadiums and a 5 minute walk to the Tower Centre (inside shopping/dining/Metro stop) and Town Square. Across the road to the Tourist Centre. There's also other eating and drinking places on the doorstep.
We were very pleased with the Hampton Inn downtown Cleveland. Check in went smoothly. Our room was surprisingly roomy, very clean and well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious and there was plenty of food. My son and his girlfriend came down to the buffet about 15 minutes before it ended and there was still plenty of food. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
Great hotel that is centrally located. Great price for the room! Only stayed one night to go to a Browns game - parking and breakfast were included which made it even better! Walking distance to downtown shopping center, restaurants, and the FirstEnergy Stadium. Breakfast buffet was exceptional and late night drink in the hotel bar was nice and convenient. I would definitely stay here again especially since the car can be left in the garage even after checkout while we were at the game.
A former industrial powerhouse on the southern edge of Lake Erie, Cleveland is known today for its service economy. It is also home to Rock 'n Roll Hall of Fame. The Cleveland Cavaliers (NBA) play at Quicken Loans Arena and the Cleveland Indians (AL) at Progressive Field – both venues are downtown. Art lovers flock to the Cleveland Museum of Art in the nearby University Circle neighborhood.
