The room was great, clean good size and right on the water, just like I hoped! It was in the heart of Norte Playa so had everything we wanted and needed all around us! I really enjoyed this place. Will be going back to stay!!

Hotel is located in a great spot! Walking distance to town was perfect. Room was clean, staff was friendly and view was amazing. Unfortunately the restaurant/bar was only open when the cruise hips pulled in and dumped people off onto the beaches.

No running hot water. No water pressure in the bathrooms. No iron or blowdryer in the room. Asked for extra towels and when we finally got them, they smelled like glue. Woke up every morning to empty bottles being thrown away. The view and Restaurant /Bar was only good thing about this place.

This was our 4th or 5th time staying at Cici and Charlie’s, and we’ve always loved the location on Playa Norte and the convenience of having chairs and umbrellas included. The rooms have typically been clean, which is why we’ve recommended it to others. Unfortunately, this visit was disappointing. Our room didn’t have a safe, the showers never got warm, and we were told that if we left our beach chairs unattended for 30 minutes, they could remove our belongings and resell the chairs to day-pass guests. That policy really takes away from the value of staying there. Sadly, after this experience, we won’t be recommending it anymore.

You can’t put a price on location and the incredible view from your balcony! You are walking distance to Hidalgo and all of the down town bars and restaurants. You also have a great deal on the beach if Playa Norte during the day with beach service for cocktails and delicious food. The room is basic. There is no room safe, hair dryer or iron. They do have a Kuerig and a small refrigerator. The water pressure is nothing to write home about but the water was hot and did the job. They gave us two clean towels and swept and made our bed daily. They also gave us mini shampoo, conditioner and soap. I usually buy shampoo on the island or bring my own. We had a wonderful stay. We will definitely return!

Ground level corner room is not ideal with all the workers that are stopping people all day every day. Good for people watching. We weren’t informed that beach chairs were provided for hotel guests. We paid for beach chairs every day, the last day when they told us that they were free for hotel guests. A cat brought a rat to the neighbours door, smelly and just removed and not cleaned up.

The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect!! The rooms are very basic, but comfortable and very clean. Air conditioner worked well and our room had a small refrigerator. We thought that most of the staff was unfriendly & not very helpful (except for the cleaning crew, which were all super nice). When we booked the room, it says that there are beach loungers for the hotel guests - which there are, however, there are many exceptions as to which ones you can use. You cannot reserve them, so it was difficult to get two loungers and once we did finally get them, they were so uncomfortable, we ended up going to a different beach club a couple places down. (which we had to pay for) We would have been OK with just sitting in regular chairs instead, but they would not allow us to even do that. It did not ruin our trip by any means, we still had a fantastic time, but the beach lounger situation could definitely use some improvement ;)

The property is simple, but the room is very comfortable as is the bed, and the view!!! OMG the view is amazing! Besides we (guests) can use the beaches chair, I super recommend it!

It is in a great location in North Beach. Two only issues: a) have a safe in the rooms and, b) it's difficult to arrive with luggage as there is a sandy area you must walk and must lift all you luggage.

Great stay!

Fantastic location and service! They kept our bags as we arrived early so we could enjoy the beach. Food, drinks and beach access was top notch! Quiet in the evenings with fantastic ocean views. Comfortable beds with lots of pillows!
