The Social Hub Glasgow
4/10 Poor
"It’s a good enough location with easy access to train and pubs; however, the “executive” room is a queen size bed for two people and the room is standard for the location. The bar in the hotel is very cute and has a good view if you make reservations. My experience was clouded by the fact that the water pressure in the shower just sucks and the a/c in the room did not work. My friend and myself were not able to get good rest and did not feel like even notifying the staff when we found out because we were already showered and ready for bed by the time we realized it did not work. The rooms also do not have phones to contact front desk, so you are forced to head all the way down to the lobby, and windows do not open. Our pillow cases had stains. It’s also important to note that prior to us heading to our room that evening we asked for a few extra towels and the staff asked so many questions to just hand us a pair of towels.
Next day, when we notified them about the a/c staff took zero accountability. I won’t be staying here again."

The Marble Arch Hotel, by Thistle
10/10 Excellent
"The breakfast was excellent, full of variety and high quality in a lovely setting. The room we received was upgraded to executive for a small fee and was brilliant, with nice little touches in the free minibar. The executive lounge was a nice space for a quiet glass of wine before we went out to the show, although the food catering was limited to fruit, 2 basic hot options and one type of cake. We were not looking to rely o this as a formal meal and so the lounge was nice. Staff were friendly and systems were robust, plenty of facilities available if we needed them. A two minute walk from Marble Arch, Hyde Park, Oxford Street and the Tube!"

a&o London Docklands Riverside
4/10 Poor
"Hostels are very different from hotels apparently. Not only is nothing for drinks in the room, there is not even a glass for water. Dog barking hours into the night. Poor quality food with little vegetarian options. No room service."

Radisson Blu Hotel, London South Kensington
10/10 Excellent
"Wow stayed here for the first time celebrating my wife’s 40th birthday and the staff were amazing making it the most perfect stay. The hotel is right near South Kensington gardens, Hyde Park and the Royal Albert Hall. The hotel is quite quirky in its design, the room was spacious enough with plenty of storage, the all important bed was nice and comfy and the shower hot and powerful. Breakfast had plenty of options with a lovely cooked verity. Really did enjoy our stay and will definitely be going back. Thank you again to the wonderful staff."

Zedwell Piccadilly Circus
2/10 Terrible
"Great location but that’s about it. Dirty towels, extremely small room, sink backed up, one roll of toilet paper, AC not working. Wouldn’t recommend staying. Ended up booking a new property the same day we arrived and eating the cost of both hotels to get out of there."
