"I wanted to stay somewhere a little quirky and thought that this place would be ideal. There was a very steep lane on arrival. The hut shown in the picture is not the one we were in. We were under the impression that there was only one hut but we spotted 4 altogether. The reason I wanted the one in the photo was because it was close to the toilets as I have a stomach/digestion disorder and have to use the toilet during the night. "We absolutely loved staying at the Townhouse Rooms. As Canadians we appreciate friendliness and definitely felt at home with our warm and hospitable hosts. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, as well as quiet. The breakfasts were delicious with lots of fresh fruit. Also loved the afternoon cake! Would certainly recommend."

"The property was nice, quite a walk from town, but that’s just how it is in Truro. My room was on the top floor and I had a lovely view of Truro Cathedral! While my shower was in the room, the toilet was across the hall. Not a big deal except there was a room right next to mine and I felt like I was disturbing them with early morning trip to the toilet and noisy doors. What I didn’t like was that all the outlets were at floor level, so the cord from the kettle couldn’t reach from the little table.I had to put it on the chair to brew. Also, very noisy plumbing. Overall, a nice stay. It was certainly worth the price!"

"The location was perfect. However the views in the listing were inaccurate. We could not see the ocean from the back seating area as the hedge was overgrown. The table was not in great shape. Inside the beanbags provided in the living room were filthy as were the curtains and they were also ripped. The bathrooms were dimly lit and only 2 bedrooms had any hanging space. We still had a great family holiday, but the overall feeling of the property was tired and worn. Some TLC would go a long way."
