Apex City of Glasgow Hotel

"Central but quiet"
We have just returned from a multi city trip to Canada. This hotel was on a par with the best hotel we stayed in which was in Winnipeg and was far better than most we stayed in. Everything was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The bed was comfortable and we welcomed its size. The staff were pleasant and serving staff helpful and engaging.

citizenM Hotel Glasgow

CitizenM is always my first choice hotel in Glasgow. The bed is quite possibly the comfiest I have ever slept in. The new addition to Apple TV in the rooms is great, means you can airplay to the TV I used it to stream music from Spoitfy whilst getting ready.

"Very friendly & helpful staff"
Ok, yes this hotel is a little cheap and cheerful. Yes, it’s really close to the train station and the city centre and so noise from outside will filter in and yes, if you have heavy luggage it doesn’t have a lift/elevator but I’ve never stayed anywhere where staff were so willing to go out of their way to be helpful and accommodating or were so friendly.

Nice room . But there was a strong smell of smoke more so in the toilet (did speak to reception they said that were were across from some smoking rooms not convinced that was the cause hope it wasnt a smoking room we had been given but reception did say if room still smelt of smoke we could change room but we wereonly there for 2 nights) also shower & shower control not great to get powerful shower you had to adjust heat tap but then water went scolding hot so it was luke warm shower with no force . Apart from that fine . I would stay at Radisson blu again
