The property is great! Good location very close by transportation and clean. Very spacious and good for a group of friends or family. I would strongly recommend staying there.

Very unique beautiful old hotel made up of several converted homes. We were in the Chateau Bauduc Suite which was very large with a very comfortable bed and a separate door that opened up to a beautiful courtyard. The service was excellent and the food was great. There is no air conditioning and our windows opened up to a public space so it was uncomfortably warm until the public space cleared out and we could open the door and all of the windows. The shower had trouble draining but not a huge issue. We had mixed feelings about this hotel but overall enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it in cooler weather.

This is a good hotel, but certainly not cheap.
Situated on Loch Lomond, makes it ideal for the views alone.
This is a large hotel, and while the staff were polite and helpful, it felt a little rushed and frantic at times and the intimacy a 5* hotel should provide was a little lost.
It feels like a US interpretation of how a 5* hotel should be and those don’t necessarily resonate with a British tourist.
I won’t lie, I was expecting a lot from this hotel, and I left feeling a little disappointed.
