Amazing Hotel
We stayed here for a night as we travelled through Canada. This place is AMAZING!!! The staff were very courteous and friendly. Location is within walking distance to many attractions. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Iconic Old Montreal hotel in a gorgeous building (originally a bank) with great service. Some rooms are on the small side, drapes do a good job at blocking light, decor is tasteful. Mini-fridge, Nespresso coffee maker, free bottled water with turn-down service, free wi-fi, limited cable TV, luggage rack, dresser, closet w/ safe, robes/slippers, no microwave. Comfortable bed (sheets could be softer), squishy pillows. Nice bathrooms with a full complement of toileteries. Narrow entryway could really use some wall hooks. Unfortunately, the overheated rooms do not respond to lowering the thermostat; the staff will promptly unlock windows, but that doesn't always help depending on airflow/cross drafts. Daily newspaper delivery available, front desk will change currency quickly.
