Great family hotel in a great location. Kids loved the pool! It's right in the middle of downtown Montreal, but you don't feel it when you're in there or by the pool. The customer service is excellent as well.

Enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately the service staff were on strike so no cleaners or restaurant staff. Had to go elsewhere for dinner and clean your own room. Not the hotels fault is the reason I gave 5 stars

Was surprised to find that there was a surprise strike on our arrival (Jul 20/24) which meant the hotel was not able to provide housekeeping service or any onsite food options. Also encountered a plumbing issue with the bathroom sink (running dirty brown water) which they had to fix. Overall a decent stay but the building is very outdated and dark so not sure I would book again. Location was however great and staff were all friendly.

Beautiful and quiet room. Loved the garden and the view into the pond from our room. The restaurant was a bit expensive for the quality of the food we had and not enough choices in the menu. Besides that we had a pleasant stay. Thank you.

Our stay with Hotel Bonaventure was amazing, the staff were incredibly polite and helpful and our room was perfect. The hotel is across the street from Central Station with easy access to train lines. No notes! Absolutely stellar.

We enjoyed family stay at the Hotel Bonaventure Montreal! We were there to celebrate our son's 8th birthday. We arrived early, but the hotel gave us access to the pool while we waited for our room. Needless to say, my kids were thrilled! When we were able to access our room, we were pleased to find a welcoming message card from the hotel for our son wishing him a happy birthday, an additional note indicating that a dessert was inside the fridge. He thoroughly enjoyed it and as a parent, those are the kinds of thoughtful touches I appreciate from hospitality establishments. A major plus is the fact that the VIA Rail station is right across the street from the hotel, and shops and restaurants are within walking distance via Montreal's Underground City and the metro. The hotel also has parking onsite. The room was modern and well-appointed with the usual hotel toiletries, plenty of towels, and comfortable beds. We also ate at their onsite restaurant and service was great! We would definitely go back: my kids were quite sad to leave and begged for us to stay longer. It was a great stay! I highly recommend it.

Great hotel. Fantastic views from the lobby and bar/restaurant of the beautiful outdoor rooftop heated pool area. Odd setup being on the 10th floor but that's ok. It adds to its uniqueness. Rooms are a good size. The amazing pool area always draws us back to this hotel.

The hotel staff was on strike for both days we reserved. As a consequence, all services were affected leaving us with no cleaning service, no room service and we had to obtain replacement towels from the front desk. Surely, a refund or discount would be warranted in this case

This property had so many green spaces in the middle of the city. Every part of our stay here was amazing! I would stay here a 100x over. The absolute best stay in a two week cross-country trip from South Florida to Niagara Falls to Montréal. I highly recommend Hotel Bonaventure!

I recently stayed at Hôtel Bonaventure with my two kids and had an amazing two-night stay. The hotel is very clean, and the swimming pool is just the right temperature, making it very comfortable. The view is beautiful, and most importantly, the staff is incredibly friendly and polite. Their kindness made me decide to book this hotel every time I visit Montreal. On the second morning, a very polite and sweet gentleman served us breakfast and asked if we would be back the next day. I told him we will definitely be back next year. Thank you for giving us such a wonderful and pleasant memory. Highly recommend this hotel!
