"Nice hotel close to Notre Dame and downtown."
We only stayed one night in this hotel so we didn't get to experience all the amenities, i.e., gym, spa, dining and rooftop terrace. We did have coffee in the restaurant, but the price for continental breakfast was $19, too much for what was offered. Then as we were leaving the restaurant, we saw that coffee was offered free in the AM in the lobby. It would have been nice to have been told that when checking into the room. The room was comfortable, spacious, clean, and lovely. The location is great and easily accessible.

"Nice location near the river"
Lovely hotel in the old area of Montreal. The hotel maintains an old feel with stone/brick walls and high ceilings. The staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledeable about the area. I rated the facilities, cleanliness and room comfort as a 3, because the rooms are very small and not very comfortable to relax in the room to watch TV or have a drink. There's really no available space, plus only one very uncomfortable casual sofa chair to watch TV. I like wooden floors in hotel rooms, but this usually means that the floors need to be meticulously vacuumed and/or swept daily. Great spacious shower and lots of hot water! The only other feedback that might be helpful to some, is if you are sensitive to noise, then perhaps some earplugs might be helpful. Soundproofing from other rooms and hallways was not great, although most of the guests were respectful and quiet. If, during the months when the outside patio and terrace patio are open, it would be very bothersome to some. We were there in April and the street patio was open for a few hours on Sunday, and thank goodness it quieted down by 9:00ish or I would have been asking to move to a different room from the noise. So, you either, enjoy the view and expose yourself to more noise, or get a room without a view at the back and have less noise.

"great location"
The staff was warm and friendly. The decor of the hotel is whimsical but not always funtional or comfortable. The breakfast is overpriced for what is provided. Location is great and in walking distance to attractions and shops in Old Montreal

"Charming boutique hotel"
This hotel is funky, unique and well-situated in Old Montreal, just steps from the old port and Notre Dame Basilica. The rooms are well-appointed with unusual decor (red and black, zebra striped carpet!) and beautifully outfitted with everything you might need.

"Beautiful Oasis in the Old Port "
This was hands down the best experience I have ever had at a hotel. The staff were so helpful and friendly. They let me check in early and upgraded my room. Room and hotel itself were incredibly beautiful located in the heart of the old port. Would stay there forever if I could.
