"Overpriced, great loc but split levels are a pain"
This hotel is located in downtown Montreal so easy access to good eateries and right across the street from the Via Rail Central station. It is listed at $500+ per night which is slightly ridiculous. The hotel has a 70s feel with many split levels between the registration and your room. Most people travel with luggage on rollers which means this is a major pain to go up and down multiple stairs and steps (4x5 steps in the span of 30 meters) due to bad (eccentric? outdated?) design. My first room had these strange machine noises from an undetermined origin. I asked for a room change. The concierge was supposed to deliver a new key but 30 mins later the machinery noise was really getting on my nerves so I lugged my roller bag up and down the mini-steps back to the reception (still no sign of the concierge, probably used me as an excuse to take a cigarette break) to get a new key. The new room was very nice. Bathroom had new granite tiles - looks newly renovated. It was pouring out so the front desk clerk (a different one than the one who checked me in) signed me out with an umbrella and gave me good directions to the restaurant. The front desk staff were very nice and both the check-in and check-out processes were helpful, quick and efficient. No compliants there. They also have a nice outdoors pool. The water is a bit warm for lap swimming but nice to bop around in after a long day of travel. Overall I would recommend this hotel but try to find a deal. Not worth full price

"ideal lication"
Hotel was clean, rooms spacious, central to shopping and Molson Percival Stadium, and a short cab ride to Old Montreal. Small but well equipped kitchenette was a nice feature. We will definitely stay here again.

"Comfortable Stay"
The hotel location is very convenient and quiet during the night, just a block away from St. Catherine where you can find a lots of restaurants and stores. I booked two rooms for one night. The rooms were comfortable. The only minor thing was one of the bed side lamp did not work, but the room had enough lights, so it was not a problem for us. Staff were friendly. Though breakfast was not included, hotel provided breakfast for guest convenience. We had a choice of breakfast buffet or continental breakfast at different prices. Overall, it was a comfortable and nice stay. We will be back to this hotel if we go to Montreal next time.

Hotel was in a great location near stores, restaurants and museums. A short walk to the train station. We stayed there for three days in September and would definitely return. The location was perfect if you were shopping or sightseeing.
