"Downtown apartment feel"
It's a good hotel if you are on a budget but lacks a safe feeling if you are traveling alone.

"Nice place with great breakfast!"
We've stayed here twice now and the location is great for us. We've had two different rooms and each had a private bath and was very comfortable. Mark makes delicious cooked breakfasts. The first time we arrived to some confusion about our reservation (which got settled and we did indeed get a room) so for our second trip I decided to use Expedia. I thought this might cut out any confusion I might have caused with my poor French. This time too Mark was unprepared for our arrival, although he did manage to have a room ready after a half hour wait. This would be a handy place to stay in Montreal and very near a Metro stop to downtown. We had no problem finding on-street parking in this quiet neighborhood. I'd recommend you make a phone call or send an email the day before your arrival to make check-in smooth.

"Comfortable Stay Close to Everything"
We booked this room for 2 nights, 1 night through AIRMILES, and the other night through Expedia. The staff was able to consolidate the two bookings so that we did not need to check out each morning or change rooms. The room was clean and comfortable. It was a bit far from the elevator, so we will request a closer room the next time we stay here. The hotel itself is close to everything. The Basilica is within view from the main entrance. Walking distance to Old Montreal and dozens of restaurants. The subway is right across the street (with a convenience store and Tim Hortons also available), so we did not need the car at all during our stay.

This is the best place to stay ever. The kitchenette was awesome and easy to prepare my own foods while I was staying there. The grocery market and the mall is near by just a few minutes walking distance. I couldn't ask for more and I would recommend this hotel to anyone who likes to cook his/her own foods.

Hit the on-site gym to burn off some of the calories you ingested at the buffet or in your room; alternatively, stretch out for a long massage to soothe muscles that have kinked after hours hunched over a table.
