Great hostel with excellent, friendly staff. The check-in area has a calendar of events that are hosted by the hostel. Fantastic way to meet people while exploring the city. Location is central -- less than 5 minute walk to the metro and eats around the hood. Highly recommend!
Liked everything except the lack of proper air conditioning in the room. I was sweating the entire night. Please make it cooler in the rooms!
The staff was friendly and very helpful, the bar was convenient, cheap, and a good way to meet people. Overall my stay was great.
Staff are very friendly. Close to downtown, a few minutes ride, close to Metro, and close to restaurants. I stayed in 8 bunk bed dorm with all women room 202. It's ok, it needs upgrading on the bunkbeds itself. Bed is hard and it hurts my back. next to the street so it is very noisy. Otherwise, my ...
Excellent value and great location - just on the edge of 'downtown' in easy reach of both universities. I had a single room with en suite. It was clean, quiet, comfortable, coffee maker in the room, good heating - and half the price of any other hotel in the vicinity. Great pub a block away - Les ...
Very low key, welcoming, calm and thus making the stay pretty cool. Location is great! A bit noisy (construction outside, was in the Rose room), coming from NY, I would call it no big deal!
It’s really close to a lot of interesting places and in the middle of downtown so you can find stores, restaurants and more all around.
Well located and not too much noisy and affortable price
Nice, helpful staff. Very clean. great value and location.
Very gracious owner who was always happy to chat about the hostel and Montreal and provided tourist guides when I arrived. I was in a private room, but met some people staying in the dorms and really enjoyed my stay overall. Building was in the process of being renovated so it was a bit less pristine ...
I booked a room with kitchenette particularly as I am travelling from a distant country and found no jug or kettle, no cutlery, 1 bowl and a rusty saucepan, not good enough.
