Several issues with the room upon our arrival. Disappointed. Much thanks to Anaise Hotel supervisor that made things better. Issues got fixed, however, never should have been a problem or issue in the first place. Not in this calibre of hotel. The location, staff, and cleanliness of this hotel was excellent. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the room was clean, beautifully appointed and comfortable. We had drinks at the bar and breakfast during our stay. The food was excellent and dining atmosphere very nice. Have a beautiful outdoor patio for dining. The hotel is in the heart of Old Montreal and next to the Basilica - very convenient.

Road work near hotel. Lost electricity one evening for a few hours. Otherwise good location to restaurants and water. The Notre Dame Basilica was right next door. Breakfast was really good. Rooms were large.

Great area, close to restaurants, Notre-Dame Basilica, Old Port, etc. Stayed in a spacious Queen deluxe suite which was recently renovated with a courtyard view and was very quiet. The only thing to note was driving around hotel was a little hectic due to construction as the street was closed but just had to tell the police directing traffic that you were a guest of the hotel and they would let you through.

Beautiful hotel, located in a really hip part of town next to the basilica. Lots of great restaurant recommendations nearby like Wolf and Workman and Nelligans. However, when we arrived, The hotel and much of the city blocks surrounding it were without power due to a fire somewhere. Upon checking in at four, we did not receive power until 7 PM. We couldn’t even get hotel keys for our entire stay because even though the power went back on, the keys, didn’t work, so we had to have a staff person let us into our room each time. They were attentive, so this was no real problem. There has been lots of construction in and around old Montreal. The noise of construction in the morning/during the day or late night behavior was definitely present... and no 24/7 room service, it only goes till 11am. They provide a Nespresso machine with pods in each room, however ours didn’t work- it overflowed - called for it to be replaced. They obliged, but we had to call twice for it- and it never showed up. Other than this, nice hotel, friendly staff, great rooms, and location!
