The only knock is that the fitness center is better described as a closet with a bit of basic equipment in it. The window to it looks right at a brick wall. Disappointing for such a nice hotel otherwise.

Very good hotel, great staff, comfortable beds. Kids enjoyed the pool. The room was very clean although it smelled a bit musty and humid. The overall quality of the hotel and staff out weighted the this small inconvenience. The location is very convenient to McGill, downtown shopping, and Place des Arts. 1.5 blocks to Metro (subway). Food options around hotel were ok...nothing special but an easy walk, metro or cab to plateau, old montreal, atwater market which are great areas for food, drinks, people, shopping, entertainment. I'd recommend hotel.

Good because located in downtown. Average service, as for 4 person in room only 2 water bottles were kept. Initial parking when you reach the hotel is a big problem till they take your vehicle to the designated parking.

Overall the room was clean. The location of the hotel was great for shopping and central to everything. The pool was closed for maintenance during our stay. The gym was also small and lacking equipment. One equipment was broken as well.

The front desk, though not unfriendly we’re not helpful with any of the questions we had about the area. Thank heavens for the valet guy every time he stepped in and helped. They didn’t have room service because they don’t have a restaurant, even though they have a full service restaurant on site that looked completely intact whenyou looked through the door it hasn’t been opened in a year, can they not find a chef that would like to start a restaurant and that area . The pool is a joke, if you’re coming with kids expecting them to play in the pool it’s not a pool and it’s not heated, which doesn’t make sense.The gym severely lacking, the only weight machine they have was out of service. The rest was just three cardio machines. Housekeeping was severely lacking, they never replaced our coffee pods, we had to go down to the desk every night for new ones for the morning though I will say it was the best hotel coffee we’ve ever had, they never replaced the coffee cups. We had to wash our coffee cups out in the bathroom sink every day. I chose the hotel based on its location and that did not disappoint.
