Wonderful hotel, excellent amenity in the room I rented. The downtown area was nice, and the hotel is centrally located for most of the areas I was interested in.

It was centrally located and there was $18/day parking in the parkcade behind the hotel. The staff were a little snobby and terrible at communicating with us. The key cards rarely worked and we had to update the wifi everyday. They also didn't clean our room one of the days and ran out of towels when we called to request a change in them. The outdoor pool was neat - more like a large hot tub, but had very few hours. All in all, a small, clean hotel that is in a great location.

Our luxury room was gorgeous. I wish the fireplace actually had heat, but it was just light. The hot pool was really nice and everything was in walking distance, or a quick uber ride. The only negative transaction was check-in. We arrived from the airport at 1:50pm and were told we could check in then for an additional fee of $70, or come back at 3pm. I could fully understand a wait if our room wasn't actually ready, but I surprised with that policy, and I've stayed at dozens of beautiful hotels. That was my first time seeing that. Overall, everything was great though. Staff was mostly friendly.

Very well situated and quiet even in a noisy downtown area. Close to both Ste. Catherine and Sherbrooke streets and within walking distance to many fine dining and event centres (sports, concerts, etc.). Easy access to the Autoroute 136. Inexpensive valet parking ($40 *after* tax) with in and out privileges. Staff were very friendly, completely bilingual and happy to serve you in either language. Also, there was a heated outdoor pool which we didn't use but will try next time. The only downside was the gym was very small and somewhat limited.

This hotel is horrible. It is all regarding staff and service. Absolutely appalling. As someone who has been privileged to travel the world and stayed in many many hotels of all ratings this has been one of the worst experiences in all my/our travels. The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. It is clean. That is it. Staff is incompetent, unable to communicate about anything, standing around looking like they cannot wait for the shift to end. Unable to accommodate even simple requests - like coffee! No room service. Restaurant - Fiorella, which is attached, is a separate entity, cannot assign charges to your room. No service in-room for breakfast or coffee. Read other reviews. Stay away. You have better options - Omni, Birks, and any of the big groups.
