Coastal trails wind through Metchosin's rural landscapes, where you can spot seals and eagles at Witty's Lagoon Regional Park. Farmers markets showcase local artisans, while nearby Sooke offers whale watching tours and Matheson Lake provides peaceful kayaking opportunities.
There was a very annoying high pitch sound coming from the bathroom fan.
Having to wait until 9:00 for the smoking area on the 6th floor to be opened was annoying. And then it was not opened until after 9:30 when I finally went to reception to request that it be unlocked.
I could not find a hair dryer which is basic amenity in most places.
Staff was very kind and helpful.

Lovely old world BnB in a superb location next to the beach, parks and Cook St. Village. Beds are comfortable and the breakfasts best expectations every time. It’s a fave spot for us. Thank you to the managers and staff for the excellent experience…again!

Our room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was simple, but good. A highlight for us was the complimentary e-bikes! Hotel is located close to the Galloping Goose trail and we spent a whole morning biking along the trail. Staff was also very nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Great hotel, wonderful stay, good food but you have Lloyd of options a short walk away. The gym ideas good and the pool and hot tub were always used. Get the rooms with a view of the harbour. Skip The Club room options. You can get a better breakfast downstairs unless you have a large family.
