"A beautiful resort with a friendly, attentive staff! Our room was clean and comfortable. Food was great but keep in mind that if you are American, as I am, you are not in America. Portions are not massive and the restaurants and times are structured. I actually really enjoyed that. The beach is absolutely beautiful with its turquoise waters and powdery sand. But be prepared to say "no thank you" to beach vendors, not associated with the resort, every so often. As they try to sell you something at every turn. Other than that, it was a truly pleasurable experience. "

"The staff are fairly friendly but overall not a good resort. The hotel is outdated and a lot of people complained that their room had no AC. Fortunately ours did, but we found a large spider in the room, heard what sounded like a homicide next door, the power went out at some point, and the food is terrible. Some of the staff were friendly but the rest were unprofessional. The bar staff hits on women and tells them to meet them in bathrooms “to kiss.” I don’t complain much, but this resort deserves the bad review. It is still an expensive vacation and it did not hold its value at all. They have zero interest in refunding you in any way for the trouble. "
