The staff were outstanding. Altagracia at the buffet is a lovely and kind woman. Ery and his colleagues at the bar by the pool were very welcoming. The property is a bit quiet, but that’s what I wanted for my trip. A wonderful vacation.

This place surpassed our expectations, but what really made the difference was the staff. We celebrated my wife's birthday, we weren't expecting anything special from anyone but to our surprise there was a birthday cake and a bottle of champagne waiting for us in our room. Everyone from the receptionist to the waitress were just absolutely friendly and always asked if they could do anything for us. This place is just remarkable.

Wonderful stay overall! The rooms were very clean and comfortable. My only small issue was waking up with a sore back on the last morning—likely just a personal comfort thing with the mattress. The golf course was fun to play on. I would play on that course again. The food was amazing, with a fresh and wide variety of options each day. The staff truly made the experience exceptional—everyone was friendly, accommodating, and incredibly trustworthy. I accidentally left my iPhone on a beach lounge chair and didn’t realize until the next morning. After I called, they responded quickly and had security deliver it right to my room. The property itself was spotless and beautifully maintained. I had a great experience and would definitely return!

The staff especially Junior,our butler, was excellent and attended to our every need. The restaurant staff was courteous and helpful. The food was delicious in all the restaurants we dined at. Favorite resort in Punta Cana. Short drive there, great food, well maintained. Been to 6 other resorts and Joia is the best for us. Average age is probably 50, but we like that. No stupid stuff by the pool ruining the vibe, people have respect for other travelers. Nice change from other less laidback resorts. Not for the 21-35 crowd.

As all-inclusives go this is smaller, which makes it very cozy! It has every amenity but is easy to navigate. The staff is fantastic and the food is even better. Our best all-inclusive destination ever, including other Iberostar properties. Highly recommend it!
