The pool room has an excellent design. I love how the shower is placed in the ceiling.
Sadly, VH Gran Ventana and V Heavens are about the best I have been able to find near Puerto Plata. Both places have pretty awful food. Better to just go out to a restaurant. Drinks aren't much better. My room was ok, but it had roaches (yuck) and all the rooms on the top floor have 4 small windows ...
