We enjoyed our time at Villa del palmar resort. It was beautiful, clean, great food, and friendly staff.

Adult only- Pacifica. Small chill vibes. Sister properties as available to use if you have the all inclusive package. Fernando at the Tequila bar is 10/10 Israel at Peninsula outdoor bar is 10/10. food is delicious. Book the hotel shuttle. $30 pp Sunset is huge, 5 min wait for gold carts to take you from one point in the property to the other. Family friendly. Will try to sell uou a "time share" opportunity. Biggest of them all. More food options. Rose- closer to town. Swimmable beach. More lively. Some of their restaurants do have a charge if you want to veat there( $45 at steakhouse for a 4 course meal, not bad at all)

I loved this hotel , best hotel I’ve stayed so sat in Cancun . Service is top notch, rooms very comfortable and spacious. Don’t get me started on the food , for it to be a all inclusive the food was fenomenal the breakfast buffet was my favorite fresh and delicious. There was something to do everyday all throughout the day , Zumba classes and there was a show every single night . They did a good job of keeping us entertained. The service room was another level and at ANYTIME of the day . The swim up bar was awesome. The of us leaving they made us an special goodbye dessert they definitely made us feel welcomed and taken care of . I’ll definitely be back.

Upon arrival and check-in supervisor Karen had a bad attitude and made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. The negative vibe carried through with us as we went to our room. Less than an hour later we went back to the lobby to discuss our stay and it turned out she provided no options. When I asked to speak to upper management she stated she was it. At that point, we made the decision to leave the hotel without having other hotel reservations. We got our luggage and took a taxi to anywhere but this property. It was the worst experience of our lives. Especially being in another country. Karen’s demeanor was uninviting and made us feel stressed out. The opposite of what you should feel while on vacation. I will never return to Garza Blanca property since customer service is not valued. I suggested that she read the book, Unreasonable Hospitality. Hope she takes my advice and learns something from it. Especially if she plans on staying in tourism, and hotel industry. I was charged full price and have now disputed with my credit card company. Worst experience!

The property was beautiful and clean. The excursion we took, was not what they told us it would be.

We stayed in August 2024 for my birthday. This was our 5th or 6th trip and unfortunately we will probably not return. Resort has stopped focusing on couples and has starting promoting large groups to book rooms. The resort isn't set up for this. Dining is delayed, staff is stressed (not enough of them to serve large groups plus other guests), more buffets than before, loud groups partying until late into the night/morning takes away from the chill, relaxing, quiet vibe the resort used to have. Staff and taxi drivers indicate the new manager (might not still be there 1.5 years later, maybe so) was running the resort into the ground for personal profit. We came here for our honeymoon in 2016 and loved it and went back several times. The last trip was so bad and noisy we were ready to leave early since the other people in our building thought nothing of blaring their music and talking on the phone until 3 and 4am in the common areas between rooms. The way the buildings are set up in this resort you walk into a common area and all the rooms in the building come off the common area. The problem is the rooms are very insulated between the rooms but not around the doors. Also because of the large open ceilings, stuff in the common areas echo. As the group was very large (probably 30 plus adults), our concerns were pretty much dismissed since they had rented out about 1/3 of the resort. The wait staff and kitchen staff and bar staff did the best they could.
