When we arrived, they would not let her check in on my credit card, she had to have her own. They would not take payment or damage deposit through my card, even though I was there. If the clerk had been apologetic, it may have been easier to take, but he was rude and condescending, and made me feel like a less valuable client for booking through a travel app. They offered no solutions for our dilemma and I ended up having to book a room at a hotel down the street for her. I am still working on getting a refund for this room that no one got to use. It was impressive how quickly security arrived on the scene to manage the situation. We tried to go for a swim and use the hot tub but it was absolutely packed with people so we had to give up after an hour of sitting by the pool. We could see young families really enjoying the dinosaur theme pool areas, that was nice to see. If I had flights to catch or arrived back to Winnipeg very late at night I would stay there again."
