We arrived at the property after driving 14 hours. The elevator was not working, and there were no rooms available on the first floor. We had to carry A LOT of heavy things up the stairs. Then as we were going to sleep the smok detector started to beep, we tried to fix it. The young girl from the front came to fix it, and we had to stand in the hallway in our pajamas while she put a battery in. She left. It was quiet for about 15 minutes, then started beeping again. Somebody else came, and could not fix it, and about midnight we had to move down the hall and sleep in another room. It was a real pain. Then haul all of our stuff back down the stairs in the morning.
