Our room smelt funny and t.v didn’t work. They got maintenance to come fix it..it worked for little bit and quit working again! I probably would not stay again.
Great location for hotel.
Property is well maintained. Staff were great throughout the stay. Some repaired Ice makers would have been nice but other then that great stay. Good Venue.
I just had the worst experience of my life on the 2nd day of my stay here. It left me and my friend feeling that we'd been targeted just because of the color of our skin.
We returned to the hotel after a lovely afternoon around 6pm and chose a table in the lobby to chat. We were in a corner of the lobby (by the Lounge) and were enjoying a quiet conversation when we noticed a staff member circling around our table. We didn't pay much attention because the staff member didn't engage us directly. After a few minutes, we saw her go into the Lounge and she came out with one of the Lounge staff members who asked us if we'd like to order anything. After a short exchange, I told her that I was a guest at the hotel and that if I needed anything, I'd come in and order.
It felt weird that there were others in the lobby, but the member only came to our table to ask if we'd needed anything.
However, after about 30 minutes (~8.30pm), the Hotel Staff member (Name tag: Wendy) came back to our table and started asking questions as if we were squatters. I had to take out my key and show her that I was a guest. I told her that I understood she was doing her job, but it was quite rude of her to just pick on us when there were multiple others in the lobby. She never apologized for her behavior and walked away. It was quite obvious that Wendy is a racist who thinks colored skin people can't afford to stay at the hotel or have no right to stay there.
Will not recommend this hotel to anyone.
Great customer service from the front desk and F&B

In general a very nice hotel, but we checked in late at night and the person at the front desk told me I could park in the parkade behind the building, BUT did not tell me the elevator from the parkade does not work after 11 and the doors from the parkade were locked after 11. So we had to walk around the outside of the building in downtown Winnipeg. Also the in room mini fridge bar was empty.
