Was surprised at how small the rooms were, but it was clean and nicely kept. Would have loved to have a fridge in the room though. Staff was very friendly.

The room was clean and the staff friendly. There was no fridge in the room. Otherwise the room was excellent. Portage, the street outside, is a main thoroughfare and is very busy and noisy for most of the hours of the day. Access to Canada Life Centre could not be better. Parking was easy but very expensive, $22 per day in my case. The neighbourhood has some colourful characters in it and may be a little less than safe, especially at night.
