"This resort is very average and not as good as the dreams in Punta Cana. - it’s old and dated - the restaurants aren’t very good and they’re often closed - rooms need an update - the biggest complaint is that there’s two pools and one of them is used all day as a party. Constant music, people drinking in the pool all day (and never getting out to go to the washroom), - there are limited lounge chairs and they’re always “reserved by 7:00 am. - lastly and not someting the resort can manage but there’s a huge sargasm problem rendering tue beach and ocean a smelly mess. "

"Do not go here! Other than our room being clean it was terrible. For an all inclusive resort this place was far below my expectations. Food and drinks are not available at times, and if you need to eat you are left paying an arm and leg for chips. Also a scam - while I was in the all inclusive buffet for lunch, a hostess came to me and said she was charging my room for my plate of food. I put my plate down and said no you aren’t I don’t want it anymore and my son and I skipped the meal. That said, the check in staff were wonderful. But I did not receive any type of compensation for the terrible experiences and services. Waste of money. "

While tasty and plentiful it did become quite repetitive as many of the dishes remained the same throughout the week. Yes, there are alot of restuarants to choose from in terms of a la cartes but the resort is quo"

"We had an incredible experience at the Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort & Spa and would absolutely stay here again. The resort itself is beautiful, with clean pools, and plenty of space to relax without ever feeling overcrowded. The food was excellent, with lots of variety across the buffet and à la carte restaurants, making it easy to find something great every day. There are also tons of activities and entertainment options, so whether you want to relax or stay active, there’s always something to do. What really made this trip stand out was the exceptional staff. Our concierge Giovani, along with Yessica and Jorge, went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Their attention to detail and genuine care made our stay even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for an all-inclusive resort in Riviera Maya with great food, beautiful pools, and outstanding service, this is an excellent choice. We will definitely be returning!"

"I first have to say the staff and front desk were great, delivered on what they said they would do. Rare at a big resort. The food here is terrible! I mean below average. All the meats are way overcooked, the same buffet items day after day, just regurgitated and once the food is fine it’s just mixed into another dish. Standard for all inclusive I know but I basically stopped eating after day 4 reserving myself to and fresh fruit or available vegetables. The sodium content is mind boggling and just not necessary!! We had 1 good meal at al la cart and that was the filet at Le Gourmet, it was very good. I know it’s hard to feed that many people but I have been to a few all inclusive and food wise this was the worst. Cobá buffets is the worst of all, akumel is a little better, tequila buffet was horrible and telum was bad too. (Sorry to be so negative) The transportation shuttles à la Mexican style were a bit challenging too. Sometimes waiting up to 40 min to get from one resort to the other. Staff is awesome, they made us change rooms and all was taken care of, we had to get a bed for one of the kids it was there within 40 min. All that was great. No real beach to say, not like other resorts, very rockey and sparse. "

"Room was spotless and the ocean view INCOMPARABLE! Comfy bed and linens and a sharp modern washroom area. Small kitchen-y area with a fridge to stash your snacks and drinks. The food at the restaurant was very tasty and priced in line with other places we’ve eaten. Nouria and the rest of the staff were kind and helpful, making us feel very at home. The only shortcoming, in my opinion, was limited seating at each of the two pools. Also—fair warning there is a long drive down a bumpy road with BIG speed bumps that aren’t always marked. Drive SLOWLY."

"Overall, the experience was good. However, I was not impressed with the room—it did not match the pictures and could definitely use some remodeling and maintenance. The room had a noticeable old smell, which might be unpleasant for people who are sensitive to odors. There was also quite a bit of noise coming through the door from housekeeping and people walking in the hallway. It wasn’t terrible, but since we had little ones the noise was sometimes disturbing, especially when they were trying to rest. On the positive side, there was a great variety of food and desserts. The environment was enjoyable, and the unlimited drinks were a nice bonus. The pool is quite large, but it still felt overcrowded. By around 10 a.m., all the poolside and beachside seats and umbrellas were already taken. "
