« **Disappointing Stay – Not Comfortable**I had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to expectations. The chalet looked nice from the outside, but the inside left a lot to be desired. The biggest issue was the lack of central heating—our bedroom was freezing at night, which made it really hard to sleep. « This was a very comfortable stay, with all the amenities of home. Perhaps the hot water management would be easy for Scottish folks, but it took the entire stay to figure out how to turn on the hot water in the primary bathroom. Property management was very responsive. It would be lovely to have olive oil in the pantry. The drying rack is broken. There were pubs close by, and you need reservations to eat there.
