"Lovely staff in all areas. Very helpful when we needed anything. The hotel is very conveniently located near to trains, trams and shops. Everything was clean and well presented. The only real downside was there were lots of stars to get to the hotel."

"Away from the city business, but just a bus ride from Edinburgh, this hotel is a nice retreat. Beautiful grounds, quiet and spacious rooms, and two restaurants on site. We were able to unwind before are long trip home!"

"Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast excellent with lots of choices. Bartenders were helpful and friendly. Room was small but had everything we needed. It was the quietest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Beds were so comfortable and the blackening curtains made having a sleep in easy. I would stay here again and would highly recommend your hotel."

"What a great location! My daughter and I stayed for 1 night. We had a fantastic view of the castle! The most comfortable Bed and a pull out couch. We lucked out when we arrived because there was an outdoor market across from the hotel. We found and purchased some great items and food. We were within walking distance to the castle and shops/streets. Everyone is so welcoming and nice. The hotel staff were very accommodating."
