The property is beautiful, a classic traditional Japanese style ryokan and they provide slippers and robes as well. It was a very enjoyable stay for us. Even given the 15-20minute walk from the train station, you’re surrounded by beautiful nature and architecture, so it doesn’t feel very far at all. Our room had a private onsen which was fantastic, definitely a highlight! We recommend...

"Very beautiful hotel, dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant was delicious. En-suite onsen was very relaxing. There was construction across the river from our onsen. The hotel can not help that but it affected our experience."
