The room was spacious and comfortable, if a bit old fashioned, and the staff were professional and kind. Dining options are limited, especially midweek or if you do not plan to go back into town, so it is best to book a room that includes meals. It is a big step up from the standard room and absolutely worth it. The private hot spring on the balcony is incredible, especially after a long day of exploring or hiking. Dinner service was excellent — the young lady who served me was polite, professional, and very accommodating despite the language difference. Breakfast the next morning was also great, with a wide variety of dishes. The traditional yukata clothing provided made the experience feel even more special and immersive. The hot spring (onsen) was absolutely relaxing, and the setting was peaceful and beautifully maintained. The entire hotel, from the design to the atmosphere, radiated elegance and tradition.
