I have to deduct a star because the restaurant only served the included traditional breakfast with our stay. We could not order or get added to the dinner plan when we arrived because it is a traditional dinner. My Wife and I were on our own for lunch and dinner. I didn’t know we needed an advance booking to eat at the restaurant for dinner. Hotels .com has a restaurant listed, so I figured we could just order off a menu. Luckily, there is a Family Mart and several Family run restaurants within walking distance. We recommend Sengoku Ukyo. Ate there for both dinners. Sweet family run restaurant. Senkyoro technically does have a restaurant, but only if you already made a plan to eat there. Breakfast was incredible. Just you wish they had an option to order other items for lunch and dinner so guests are not stuck walking in the cold weather. Abbiamo optato per la camera con l’onsen privato ed era bellissima, la cena prevedeva diversi piatti della tradizione giapponese, dormire nei futon è stato più comodo del previsto. Il tutto è stato sicuramente reso più autentico da una graziosa signora che ci ha servito la cena e predisposto i futon, non parlava inglese e forse era meglio così. Tornerei qui mille volte. La stanza era bellissima e si affacciava su una cascata. Abbiamo sperimentato la vita tradizionale giapponese. Gli onsen sono spettacolari, e per solo 2200 yen puoi averne uno provato 45 minuti. La colazione sembra quasi un pranzo!
