"Had a great stay at the Lamphouse. Very comfortable and clean. Right I’m downtown. Nice hot tub area. Liked having the fan in the room. Refrigerator and microwave was a plus. Good hot water. More than one hand towel would be good. Only suggestion is to paint the big cinder block wall above the rooms by the restaurant. Paint it lamphouse dark gray and have it say “Lamphouse”."

"This was a quick stop-in during a long road trip. The price was fair and reflected the utilitarian accommodation: nothing fancy, but functional. Unfortunately the suite had been deodorized with something too strong, which set off my allergies. We opened the window to air it out while we went for supper, and it wasn’t as bad after a few hours, but still enough to cause a headache.
