"Loved everything about it "

"There's a shabby tackiness about the place, which I actually found charming. Check-in was difficult, mostly due to the weather, but once I got into my room everything was fine. I put the Do Not Disturb sign on the door and wasn't disturbed the whole five days. I don't require a lot of maintenance. I seldom make my bed at home and didn't feel a need to have it made here. I put all my recyclables in plastic bags and left a box of baking soda in the bathroom. I use it to brush my teeth and to drink when I get heartburn. I like that it's across the street from the Lyceum Theater and there's a nice deli that sells sliced fruit, which I bought several times. All in all, I really enjoyed being there."

"The hotel lobby was under construction but everything was operational. Location was great. Hotel room was a nice size for NYC and very well priced. "

"The hotel is older but I really liked the style of it. The price for the location is great. Desk staff were wonderful. We had a room with one king bed and the size was good, room was comfortable and the window AC unit kept up with the 37 degree heat. Not a good hotel if you are planning to have a lot of meals in your room - no fridges/microwaves. We were only there for a few nights so this was not a problem. I will stay here again if I am back in NYC."

"My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel for his birthday weekend. We chose the hotel because I’ve stayed there before and I loved it and the location is so convenient, BUT this time around, it was even better. The staff was nothing less than amazing. Every single encounter we had was incredible. They were all so sweet and helpful. And they helped me surprise my boyfriend for his birthday which I am eternally grateful for.
