The room was decent. The staff was friendly. But the line was long and the worst part of it all was the elevators. Unreliable at best.
Very good location. Close to Central Park, Times Squares and Metro stations. If you arrive early they have luggage storage for a fee. Staff is very friendly y courteous. The rooms need some updates, but it was very cleaned.

The rooms are not updated, so dusty. The washrooms are not renovated. Only the lobby is nice and the washrooms in the lobby. We had to get a new room since we found bugs on our pillows.. they charge $35 a day USD that you have to use and two out of the four days we lost the money because we never got to use it and this was not explained at check-in. Although the staff was accommodating, and the location was very good, there’s a lot of changes that need to be made.
Staff were amazing but the elevators in this hotel are enough for me to never stay there again.
It’s a system where you select your floor on a keypad and it queues you to a specific elevator. Sounds like an efficient process until you realize you’re going to wait 20+ minutes to get on that specific elevator. The worst was when we were leaving from the 42nd floor. Every elevator that finally stopped was packed from picking up people on floors above that we couldn’t get on with our luggage. So if you don’t get on, you have to start your queue again. We were going to miss our flight after waiting over a half hour so a kind housekeeping staff working on our floor let us go down a service elevator to try and help us.
Waiting for elevators took so much time away from our trip. I’ll never do that again.
Nice hotel, had to switch rooms because of a broken tv but was quick to fix. The pillows were quite squishy and soft but the hotel was close to Times Square and had great accessibility.
Everything was great, room was cold and took most the night to warm up but it was freezing outside and the large windows probably didn't help. Bed were a bit tall but once you were able to climb into them they were very comfortable. It was an overall great stay, we would come back.
The rooms were clean and the elevators were easily accessible. They have the options to store the bags $6/day which was very helpful before and after check in. It is located close to time square so we were able to walk there. The only con I would say is that the front desk staff had attitude when asked questions and were rude at times. Other than that, great place!
Yes! Indeed, that was a great stay at Sheraton NY Times Square. The hotel is closed to most of the attractions, the quality of service is middle-high level, we feel important but enough to be ourselves. The gym was extraordinary and the coffee shop amezing. Clean and super secure space, we feel at home, and the people who work there are honest, sincere, and smile. Thank you, and thank you again. We passed unforgettable days at New York.
Elevators took long and most were out of service or packed. The rooms were not kept up well.
The beds were made and all but the walls were dirty and banged up. The rooms are also smaller than they appear, and the beds are full size not queen. Very crowded, very busy.
The elevators were constantly a problem the week we went. The day we left we had to go down to the lower level and he redirected to another elevator/stair system to even get into the lobby. Half of the time the elevators wouldn’t even come, we would request our floor and it would say cannot allocate lift. We were directed to the staff elevators for half our stay because it would take well over 20 minutes to even get an elevator to bring us to our floor. Upon check in the staff did not explain the cost or the nightly $35 cost of food/entertainment that if we didn’t use it we would lose out on the fee anyways. The cleaning staff was amazing and our room was always tidied quickly and towels were always provided. The main problem was the elevators this week.
Lobby is too chaotic. Suggest to have front desk dedicated for checked in customer service such as key room not working Rather than falling in line for over an hour together with people who are checking in. No notice of work order done in the room, Was surprised to find hotel maintenance in our room.housekeeping service is great!
The room had obviously not been cleaned when we arrived. There were dirty socks on the floor, hair in the shower, scuff marks on the bedding, etc. When we emailed customer service we got a response that was clearly written by AI. It said cleaning stuff would be coming to check it in the morning. Cleaning staff didn’t come at all during our 3 day stay.
