We received a gift certificate from relatives to stay at the Oak Bay Beach Hotel for one night and we extended it to three to take advantage of favorable fall rates. Lovely old world BnB in a superb location next to the beach, parks and Cook St. Village. Beds are comfortable and the breakfasts best expectations every time. It’s a fave spot for us. Thank you to the managers and staff for the excellent experience…again!

Boutique hotel with attention to detail in a perfect location.

We had four people in our stay over the recent weekend. There are so many great aspects to the stay, and that makes it very tough to list them all. To start I have to mention the complimentary apples. Every day, without fail, apples. Amd constantly the bowl was refilled. Then the amazing cleanliness of the rooms. Great beds, and towels. But back to the apples. Grew up on an apple orchard. So this was one of the highlights. The hotel is so convenient for accessing shops, and so many restaurants....

Thank you Ben and all the staff for making our stay memorable. Accommodations were excellent and entertainment is easy to access in the heart of Downtown Victoria. Very clean and comfortable rooms. The suites are beautiful: Would definitely recommend for families!

It's a great place to stay ,convenient to Town ,nice room's, somewhat small,but clean and inviting. Good food at the pub and breakfast in the dining room.

Great place to stay to explore Victoria. Nice, clean,great staff and reasonably priced. Walking distance to almost everywhere you need to go. Would definitely recommend and will stay there again.

We managed to book one of the few remaining available rooms at Helms. We mentioned a few times while on the ferry that we hope the place is okay. We were definitely surprised and very pleased with location, with our room and with the staff. We will definitely choose this hotel on our next visit.

Everything is very good, except the window covering is lace curtain, No sunblind, half of drape is just for the decoration only. Sunlight come to you early in the morning.

Elvie & Faith were very accommodating. They have a very warm and positive demeanour. We arrived very early from Tofino so we were trying our luck to check in early and indeed, Faith checked us in and even upgraded our room. Excellent customer service!! We loved the location of the property as well. Very close to mall, dining, transpo, etc. P.S. it would be better if there was complimentary water in the room 😅. But everything else was good!!

We have stayed here more than once and will continue to stay here. Our only "complaint" is how expensive the room service is - they charge an automatic tip which is understandble but in addition to this, charge several other "service fees" which are more.excessive than other places we have stayed. Otherwise, we love the convenience of where this hotel is located, the incredible friendly staff (we really enjoyed a lady named Summer who eas so good with our 6 year old son). Great hotel, wonderful stay, good food but you have Lloyd of options a short walk away. The gym ideas good and the pool and hot tub were always used. Get the rooms with a view of the harbour. Skip The Club room options. You can get a better breakfast downstairs unless you have a large family.
