Nice staff and good restaurant with delicious food. The toilet seat is too small, not even an adult size. The flush does not work properly, even without putting toilet paper in it. There's a small fridge but no microwave. They didn't add in the primary importants such as utensils and a place to heat up food or drinks. The placement of the TV in both the living room and bedroom is very awkward. Even after moving it a little you still can't watch anything from the couch. There channels are very limited and boring. Pixel quality also wasn't the best. There is also very little lighting.

Great location! Has good facilities and multiple things to do at a walking distance. Are the only pros. We stayed for one night, room was extremely small with minimal to no facilities for the price paid. Woke up with rashes the next day (possible bug bites). Spoke with the manager on duty and got a response that they will look into it. Never got a follow up email or call. Nothing was compensated or taken care of. There are better options at a cheaper rate around. Not worth spending hundreds of dollars.

In a central area and greatly convenient to ferry terminals and downtown. Gorgeous gardens and well kept property. My room was not quite as nice as I was expecting for the money spent- perhaps it had not yet been updated as is reflected in some of the photos. Morning staff were really kind and helpful, I wish that the night staff had been the same after a long journey before checking in. It would be helpful to know about how the parking situation works in advance- especially for those arriving late at night.

Lovely old hotel with paid parking for convenience. Location across from ferry landing and close to restaurants, museum and other interest points. Tasteful, comfortable rooms.

The Grand Pacific is in a perfect location near the ferry terminal, Parliament, the Victoria conference center and the Royal Museum. There are many dining options within a 10 minute walk. The hotel is a bit pricey and the rooms are not necessarily spacious, but the attention to quality and service is first rate.

The staff at the front seat was unfriendly and borderline rude. We did not feel welcomed at all. The hotel itself is at a great location and the rooms are decent but I’ll never stay here again because of the lack of hospitality
