Low end hotel chain so expect lower satisfaction unless you expect that standard; I didn’t. I’d never stayed with Sandman prior but had the perception they were a strong brand, not so much. Staff are ill prepared to offer excellent service, and the property is old and run down. Sandman has seen better days, it seems.

we have stayed here many times, its very local to where we need to go. The one thing I am curious about is when i was looking for the rates for this hotel. I was on theor page and i clicked on the room style I wanted. It said $199 or 189 ( I cant remmebr right now). When I then booked it I was charged $209. Not sure why. But from now on I will dbl check these things. Its not a lot of money but it did have me wondering how I will book a room in the future.

The room wasn’t what I expected. It is poorly layer out. It had no garbage container near the kitchen. Only a recycling container. The separate bedroom had two twin beds pushed together. And only one night stand. The room it self was very small. The so called coffee table consisted of two foot stools without a glass top so we were unable to set our beverages on them. It did have a washer and dryer, so that was good. The price was very inflated for an outdated room. Unfortunately there isn’t much for accommodations in Abbotsford but I won’t be staying at Sandman any other time.
