"Great hotel on 5th Avenue"
This hotel is located basically right in 5th Avenue and 55th street. It is within walking distance to the MOMA ( Museum of Modern Art, one of my favorite museums in Manhattan) and relatively close to the Theater district (10 min by Uber or cab). The staff is excellent and rooms and bathrooms nice and spacious, though it appears to be a bit older as a hotel (it has an inside staircase to reach the Lobby and the elevators are a bit older). . If you plan to stay in midtown Manhattan and do not want to stay at one of the mega- hotels it is a very good choice.

"Great location"
Staff was wonderful especially Gabriela. Spacious and nice rooms for NYC. Near shopping and amazing restaurants but very bad traffic if you need to get uptown for work.

"Amazing!"
Expedia sent us to this hotel since our original hotel was overbooked and that hotel gave up our room, With no car and no idea where we were, not to mention this is all after a long flight. I called Expedia customer service and they sent us here. Not only were they very apologetic because of the inconvenience, they paid the difference. We were so grateful , and the room was so gorgeous, they even upgraded us for the inconvenience. The beds are comfortable and the skyline view of New York from our room on the 14th floor was heavenly, not to mention the Press Loung views. I will forever be thankful to Expedia for stepping up and helping us out with the best view in New York . I will definitely stay here again and use expedia for all my traveling needs.

"Wonderful hotel. Comfortable size room. "
Swanky, comfortable and thoroughly enjoyable for Girls getaway to celebrate my daughter's college graduation and to go look for wedding dresses. Location was perfect. Easily walked to explore different part of Central Park each day and could have even walked to Broadway play, if it hadn't been 95 degrees. Hotel staff was very accommodating, and housekeeping more than compensated for couple small blunders on 2nd day by making up for them on 3rd day. The bed was unbelievably comfortable. We both slept so soundly and commented how perfect the mattress was. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

"Affordable hotel in great location"
This is the second time I stayed in this hotel. The rooms are spacious, the hotel staff excellent, and the distance to tourist attractions short. Even though the the rooms show some signs of wear and tear, I still think it's an excellent hotel for the price. The amenities like whirlpool, sauna, steam room, and 24 hr gym are great. Inside of the hotel is a nice lawn like space where you can hang out, play table tennis, plan your activities or just work. The staff is just great and very helpful. They also have a nice little restaurant attached which offers happy hour specials in the early evenings. I highly recommend this hotel.

"For 50+ age group"
Excellent location for high-end boutique shopping, very nice staff. Once the renovation is completed, it will be again one of the top hotels in New York. Right now, the room price (by New York standards) is pretty fair, as the renovation is still ongoing and some occasional noise must be expected between 8 am and 5 pm. No such problems during the night though.

"Beautiful Hotel close to central park and times sq"
The Park Hyatt is a beautiful hotel in a relatively quiet area of NYC but close enough to walk to Central Park and Times Square. The staff are 5 star. They made our stay memorable with help from things to do and places to see. Would definitely stay again. If you are looking for a hotel that has a lot of activities, this is not the place for you. IF you want an elegant place to stay that is 5 star, stay at the Park Hyatt.

"It's not the same anymore"
I am romantic about the Palace but this time I was a bit disappointed . We stayed five nights and I was not impressed by housekeeping. They forgot to make the beds before going to sleep (this used to be done before) or getting extra soap in the bathroom . I guess "less is more", but the prices are higher and higher every year , plus they charge you for internet.

"Great hotel, good location and friendly staff."
We came as a surprise for my boyfriends birthday and it was great! We arrived later in the evening and were given a complimentary room upgrade! The staff was super friendly and the room was awesome. The hotel is in a great location for getting around. You can walk to Times Square in about 10 - 15 mins, Empire State Building in 5 mins and Penn Station about 5 - 10 mins. Also, its right on a bunch of subway lines so you can move all over the city super easy. My only issue is the wifi...I wish it was free but oh well we would stay here again!!
