"Great Location"
Travel Inn was three blocks from Times Square, and a subway station to get me to the Statue of Liberty ferry, and five blocks from the pier my cruise ship was docked at. I could walk to everything I needed and the hotel itself was nice. I absolutely loved the location.

"Pleasantly surprised!"
Booked this hotel on accident- intended to book Andaz in Midtown and it turned out to be a great mistake. The location was perfect, access to MTA, Stone Street was ideal for a cocktail and bite to eat. The room was clean and very spacious for a NYC hotel room. The hotel staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs - even provided yoga mats! :) Would book again in a heartbeat and highly recommend to family and friends.

We had a room by the elevator and it was the quietest. Clean and comfort. The hotel is huge and tv has cable. You can order food from local resturants, AIRWAYS PIZZA was ok and fast if you're hungry!

The Jane Hotel

"Good value, location"
Check in was good We were given a upgrade to a better room at no extra charge. The hotel restaurant was closed for renovations, we were not offered coffee. The day of check out we noticed other visitors were told of bagels and coffee that were available. That could have saved us time and money. We were not familiar with the area and it upset me that we had to wander around to find something outside the hotel. The day of checkout we asked for a taxi to be called, we were told they have their own transportation services for guests and we could arrange for transportation to JFK that afternoon for a flat rate.I was pleases, although the price was higher then a reg street taxi, I was told it included tolls.Much to my dismay at the airport the driver said the fair was 13$ more then quoted. When I asked about the difference he said "oh, that's a cash price" This was not told to us, nor posted in the car.So even thou we had a free upgrade I feel they got their money, plus more.I left feeling somewhat scammed. The staff were polite, with the exception of the young African American gentleman who I felt was slightly condensating.I did not get his name. The hotel was clean, in a safe location and close to subway.Would I stay again? I would but I am wiser now of the pitfalls.Even thou we got screwed with the taxi and breakfast, it still was a good value for New York.

"What a Surprise"
We did not know much about this hotel but found it to be a wonder classic old hotel in walking distance to Time Square without being in the crowd. The lobby and the adjacent bar were open and bright with beautiful architecture. The bar was lively with discussion at night making the experience a fun atmosphere. The rooms were spacious with very comfortable bed. Overall a great experience.
