The hotel is good, little expensive but all new york is expensive, try to get a room that is on the front of the hotel as the rear rooms are too noisy because of the subway line that are behind the hotel.

"Excellent facilities, average service"
Myself and my partner stayed here in April 2016. The room we were given was fantastic, on the top floor with excellent views of the city. The room was clean and extremely comfortable with excellent amenities, although we did miss having a kettle - free tea and coffee are provided in the lobby area though. One small niggle was with the service we received. It was not poor by any means but was nowhere near the standard that we would have expected from a hotel such as this where the impression is that nothing is too much trouble. As me and partner were getting married, there were numerous issues that we sought assistance with and we were surprised at just how unhelpful the staff were with the majority of them. We also had difficulties with the heating as the hotel had switched to a cooling system and although I explained that my partner had arthritis, we had to constantly request that the heat be switched back on (which took ages!) and were told more than once that this could not be done, even though it could. This hotel is perfect if you want an efficient, hands-off style service, but I would not recommend if you are looking for that personal touch.

"Closed for renovations!"
We arrived at our hotel just before midnight on the night of our check in. When we arrived we actually found that the door was locked but the receptionist was there to let us in. We received some rather disappointing news- our hotel was actually closed for renovations!! Somehow our reservation through Expedia slipped through the cracks and the hotel claimed that they had no way to contact us through our Expedia account. The receptionist was extremely apologetic, helpful and professional. Within 10 minutes she had booked us another room in a great part of NYC and the hotel paid the difference in room cost. The hotel also paid for the cab fare to the new hotel. We couldn't have asked for better service in that situation. She handled everything beautifully and we were not upset at all. It simply made for an interesting night!

"Close to Citi Field"
I was looking for a hotel close to Citi Field because I was coming to New York to see the Mets play. This hotel was close enough to walk to the field, which was great, but it was also a great hotel to stay in. The staff was super nice, the room was clean, and they offered recommendations of nearby resturants. And it was close enough that we could take a cab to some bars when my friend and I wanted to stretch our legs. I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend, and would stay here again!

"Excellent hotel in Battery Park City!"
The Conrad is a great choice for this part of the city. It is clean and contemporary. The staff is very friendly. The location is excellent. Atrio restaurant for breakfast is a good choice but expensive. Carlos our waiter was wonderful. Also, Tio - our bellman/guest services person was awesome and very friendly. The only annoying thing is the refrigerator in the room which is stacked with expensive junk and there is a $25 fee too remove items to store your own things which is redo ilium. Not everyone that stays in a financial district hotel is a Wall Street banker! Otherwise it was awesome...

The beach at Coney Island in Brooklyn is one of the most beloved NYC shores amongst residents. After your day walking along the boardwalk and sampling some famous Coney Island hot dogs, a dip in the water is divine. This beach is well-known for its ample swimming and sunbathing opportunities during the muggy East Coast summers. Even if it’s the colder months, you can still hop onto the famous Coney Island rides to feel like a true New Yorker.

For something more adventurous, Rockaway Beach is the premier surfing beach in the Big Apple. Located in Queens, the area is a big draw for locals due to the sizable waves throughout the year. In fact, most pro surfers prefer colder seasons, as the swells are taller in size.

You don’t have to travel far to the water from your New York hotel on the beach when you book right here on Expedia.ca. We offer deals on the top hotels in New York in the locales of your choice. Pick a room close to Coney Island, Rockaway Beach, Manhattan Beach, or anywhere else in the city.
