I reserved the room I wanted with two double beds and a nice view months ago. When I got there I had to wait an hour to check in to find out they were overbooked and they didn’t have my room available. They stuck us in a room with one bed and a dismal view of a roof and ac units. I’m so disappointed and this was so expensive I’m really unhappy.

The hotel is ...just okay. If you don't have to stay here for a conference or a large group trip, there are other options in the neighborhood that are likely better. Be prepared to pay exorbitant prices for the mediocre breakfast buffet ($50) and the cash and carry market there ($9 for a bottle of water, $8 for a small cookie, $16 for a small breakfast burrito.) The rooms are on the smaller side and haven't been renovated in a while. Mine was very worn down. Drinks at the two bars are also extremely high priced, even by Manhattan standards. Also, dining options at the bars are very limited. The staff is very nice and professional.
