"As usual with these suite hotels, the rooms are large, good enough, comfy beds. Location is good, a stones throw from the Eaton Centre I didn’t like the fact that for a 4 night stay, my room was made up once, supposedly I should have been told that, but wasn’t, and in any case it’s too late at check-in, make it obvious on the website. Also, don’t pre-book breakfast, it’s pretty average. One block away is Sunset Grill, which is awesome"

"Two of three elevators were broken. Had to use the service elevators. Spent an enormous amount of time waiting for elevators. Check-in line was HUGE with very few staff available at the counter. Hot tub was drained and not available last two days of my stay. Room was typical of a three star hotel, not a 4 star. My bathroom was old and run down. My room rate was just over two hundred dollars for the first two nights and then over four hundred on the last night! Booked it on Expedia based on the room rate and my fault, didn't notice the bump on the last day until I was checking in. Won't stay here again."

"I love staying at the Union hotel. It's a breeze to get to from Billy Bishop, and public transit is right there. My room was ready early which was great! My room had zero view even though it was on the top floor; a small quibble, I know, but I had to keep the blinds drawn as to not be in other folks' business the whole time (there are an internal facing set of rooms where we are just seeing each other's windows). Rooms are great and the restaurant downstairs makes great coffee."
