"Wow wow wow. The place was so clean. Immaculate actually. The property was so quiet and well kept. Felt so comfortable in comparison to other places I’ve stayed. I will definitely use this place everytime I’m back in Fort Lauderdale. This definitely is my go to spot now. The pool was nice and it’s right on the water in a great spot close to local restaurants and everything. And communication with the property manager was easy and so accommodating"
"The property is very nice and scenic, close to some nice restaurants and a shopping mall, unit was clean the only Down fall I would have would be the noise from the road, all the cars that drive by over the lifting bridge, other then that was great "
"Friendly kind service. Very clean close to the beach…. A short walk to shopping and restaurants couldn’t ask for a better location. Staff is exceptional."
"Good location. Laundry is available (although not free and you need to buy your own soap). Decent free wifi (I did not try it for high performance gaming or anything). Free parking (unlike some hotels in the area and parking is likely to be expensive if the hotel doesn't provide it)"
"Excellent hosts. Charming property. Clean room. Comfortable bed. 5-7 minutes from restaurants and grocery store. Good location and centrally sited for sightseeing."

We stayed here for a day and a half before a cruise. Located about 25 minutes from the airport and the cruise port in a nice quiet area. Three or more restaurants and a mall all within a 5 minute walk. Nice courtyard area and pool is across the street-the property is kind of divided. Would stay here again

Tony and Walt are two kind, helpful friendly guys. They could not do enough for us, looking up places to shop for us and recommending good places to eat. The establishment is spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, fridge, microwave, coffee maker etc. Would recommend these guys and their clean, cozy B and B a hundred times over. Next time we are in Fort Lauderdale we'll definitely stay with Tony and Walt. Cheers - Anne & Ron

When is the best time to go to Fort Lauderdale?
The best time to go to Fort Lauderdale is between December and May when the weather is warm, sunny, and dry. This period avoids the hotter, more humid summer months and the peak hurricane season.
For those looking for pleasant beach weather without the larger crowds and higher prices of the absolute peak season (January to March), late April and May are excellent choices. The ocean is warm enough for swimming, and you'll find it easier to secure reservations at popular restaurants and attractions.
Budget-conscious travellers might consider visiting in late autumn, around November. While there's a slight chance of lingering tropical weather, it's generally a nice time with fewer tourists and more attractive hotel rates before the winter rush begins.
Where can I find the best nightlife in Fort Lauderdale?
Fort Lauderdale offers several distinct areas for nightlife, each with its own character.
Las Olas Boulevard is well-known for its upscale bars and restaurants that transition into late-night spots. You'll find a selection of cocktail lounges, wine bars, and establishments with live music, often suiting a more sophisticated crowd looking for an evening out.
The Beachfront area, particularly along A1A, has a more casual, resort-town vibe. Here you'll find beach bars, pubs, and clubs that often feature DJ sets or live bands. It's a popular choice for those looking for a lively, less formal setting, especially near the main public beach access points.
