Stayed for one night. The hotel was nice but there was a funny smell in the room and hair in the bathroom shower. We probably would go back and give it another try though

"Not a Ramada hotel quality."
Overall was fine, but coming from the U.S I was expecting something better. Beds were good but the room was somewhat dirty, specially carpet, I saw some little garbage under the desk/dresser and it never got vacuum and I stayed 2 nights. I needs a big remodeling but for the price was fine, like they say,"You get what you paid for", but if its old at least it could be cleaner. The pool was fine and I loved that they have showers in the restrooms. Restaurant was good, server not so nice but Chef came to say hi and he was really nice. Its a little bit weird that restaurant is like more upscale and does not match with hotel at all. But it was nice to have somewhere to have breakfast and they have specials for a good price. I would try it again in the future just for the price. I was tempted to go to the Best Western close by buy I wanted to save a few bucks and it was closer to family. Overall my only complain is the cleanliness of the room and that is a easy fix.

"Good place to crash after a night out"
They said could check in at 3pm so picked up the key at 2pm (which was very nice) but came back at 4pm and the room wasn't clean yet.. dome on the floor, puke on/around the toilet.. not sure if they changed the sheets, but that's a motel for you. Also, some sketchy characters on the premises.

"Nothing really special"
Stayed in a king penthouse suite. Nice - not amazing. Clean but there were glass rings on the edge of the jacuzzi. Two balconies - we were on the back with no view. No furniture on balcony except one dirty faded old plastic chair. Thought that was a bit weird. Looked forward to prime rib night Wednesdsy but restaurant ran out Just before we got there at 8pm.

"Exceptionally friendly and helpful hosts"
Lesley was very accommodating with our late arrival time, greeted us with a smile and asked us if we wanted a late breakfast so we could catch up with our sleep. Our room was very clean and hugely spacious. We loved the large comfortable sleigh bed. We will be sharing Lesley's recipe for the best blueberry and raspberry muffins with our family when we return home. We spent the next day in Vancouver with our son and cannot thank Martin enough for all the help he gave us in planning our day there, our time was short and he gave us excellent advice, including where to park at reasonable cost. He shares our interest in Haida art and we were directed to the best of the galleries. There is a beautiful guest lounge with fire place. We will plan to arrive earlier next time we come to Coquitlam. A lovely home with beautiful gardens
