"The hotel is in the heart of Downtown New Orleans steps away from Bourbon Street and the French Quater. Be ready to add $50 per day for parking. Parking is good until 4pm the following day. Have cash for tipping. They valet park your car so they need a tip. Then the bell man takes your luggage to your room so that's a tip. And on your way out you will tip again for them getting your car. If you are on the 19th or 20th floor you have to take a 2nd elevator to get to your room which was interesting. The rooms are fine. They are clean and well maintained. We had a couple of silver fish in the tub but it's an older hotel. For the price it's a fine hotel. Just be prepared for the parking and tipping. 4 stars seems right for this property."

"This was my 2nd time staying here. The Location was perfect! Just a quick walk away from Bourbon Street and many other attractions. The staff was wonderful and Very helpful. Both of my rooms were clean. The Cleaning lady was so sweet and also very helpful with whatever she could help with. The only thing I'm not a fan of is they charge you $150.00 per room as a deposit. It's been a week and I have yet to receive my money. I get it but still not a fan. Speaking of fans, it gets hot in the rooms at night I'm not sure if the AC has an automatic shut off or not. But other than that it was a great stay :)"

"Checking in was a breeze and the staff was really nice during check in. I got to room and was disgusted. It smelt like feet and the bathroom door would get stuck. Also the tub was slow to drain and left a ring after every shower. The furniture was old and obviously worn. I told the staff and nothing changed."

"The toilet at check-in had feces left in it. I contacted the front desk for housekeeping services, it took until 10pm for someone to arrive to clean the dirty toilet. I was offered a measly $50 credit off my room. The valet parking services puts $100 pending charge for each day of your stay. It takes approximately 7 days for them to make the adjustments and the funds to be returned to your account. I don’t ever think I’ll choose the Sheraton in the future ."
