"Our experience at this property was disappointing. The host seemed to overbook, and we were re-located to a different house that wasn’t ready for guests—dirty room, no AC despite being advertised, and very few amenities. The setup felt rushed and unprofessional, and communication was difficult. While we appreciated being given a fan due to having a warm & hot room, we wouldn’t stay here again due to the misleading listing."

"Much enjoyed my stay and would stay again when going through Vancouver.
The staff was really friendly and helpful.
Very good location. Walking most everywhere easy."
"This is probably the prettiest place I have stayed in, the decor is so beautiful, the host got many paintings to go with the themes. I wish I could stayed longer."
"Booked for myself and my 16yo for her first anime convention. Turns out it’s a historic motel from many movies and tv shows over the years. We were perfectly fine with the older setup and everything was kept in great condition. This is not a new building so some quirks were expected like the 2nd bed being in its own room (teen loved that!). "

"Great hosts and lovely park nearby (awesome Saturday morning market to discover). Nanaimo skytrain station is walkable in 10min. 15min walk to Commercial drive. Great launching pad to visit Vancouver. "
Historical gem suite 2 queen beds with spa-Like bathroom & garden patio fountain

"Great space in an amazing neighborhood. The host was attentive. Many little touches and details that made the stay pleasant. Close walk to any food selection you could want. Recommend Belgian Fries for the poutine. Great choice for anyone visiting Vancouver. "
Centrally located 3 bedroom 2 bathroom close to stores, restaurants and downtown
10/10 Excellent
"First of all, Aaron the owner was very patient with all the questions I had, he answered them very quickly. The property was beautiful, very well maintained. One of the bathrooms is only a half bath, powder room, but it served its purpose. Overall I would give this property five stars"
