The location is so central, we could walk to most things in less than 10-15 min. Thr location right next to the cruise terminal and on the water was great. We enjoyed watching the ships come and go and seeing the sea planes take off and land was great. We dined at Botanist which was simply divine. The rooms were big and well appointed. The lobby vibe was high energy and the bike rentals were awesome. We will stay here again. Also, the hotel is a 5-10 min walk from the airport train which makes is a snap to reach.

Theft at the hotel We booked a 10-night stay at the Fairmont Pacific Rim, expecting a five-star experience as frequent travelers accustomed to top-tier service. However, our experience was nothing short of a nightmare. During our stay, my wife’s bracelet went missing from our room while we were away for only a couple of hours. When we noticed the theft and informed the security and manager, the manager assured us that they could solve the problem and advised us not to call the police. Despite the serious nature of the theft, their response was shockingly inadequate and dismissive. The hotel claimed to have investigated all the housekeepers and resolved the matter within just three hours, which is utterly unbelievable and unacceptable. How can a thorough investigation of all staff be conducted so hastily and superficially? There was no proof provided that they genuinely investigated all the housekeepers. The email we received from the management offered no real answers or proof, only a hollow apology. They essentially brushed off a significant theft with a cursory investigation and a generic sorry. This level of negligence and lack of accountability from a supposedly prestigious hotel is outrageous. Our stay was ruined by this incident, and the hotel's response only added to our frustration and disappointment. We do not recommend Fairmont Pacific Rim to anyone. It is so Beautiful here! It’s by the harbour so the air smells fresh. The staff are very welcoming and friendly! 10/10 recommend staying here 😄

I was taking some video in the lobby bar to show friends how beautiful it was when an older man came up behind me and rudely told me not to video. Firstly, i wasn't videoing people but high above them. Frankly, he put a damper on my retirement day with his rude aggressive tone.
