"This older, stately hotel of a more opulent era did not disappoint. The elegant, yet small room, was immaculate. We were very comfortable and enjoyed the ambiance. The hotel is in the middle of Chicago, close to the lake, yet the nightly price was very reasonable. Parking is directly across the street ( entrance is around the corner) and was very expensive. The breakfast is served in the in-house restaurant and was very good for included hotel breakfasts. The only negative we had: they do not serve decaf coffee!"
"Good location, within walking distance to everything. Very close to Navy Pier, the beach, and the Michigan Lake Trail. The only unpleasant thing about the hotel was that we had a room right next to the elevator, and the noise was very annoying. "
