THE GOOD
=========
- Great food
- Friendly staff and mostly great service
- Great live music
- Good WiFi
- The rooms were spacious, clean, and modern.
THE BAD
=======
- The sports area doesn't open until 9 AM, so if you want early morning tennis or pickleball, that's too bad for you. The sports area is not well-maintained, except for the tennis court. Don't get your hopes up if you want to play basketball.
- Many water activities are only for adults (e.g. stand-up paddle boarding, sailing, kayaking). They won't let your capable teenagers do them without an adult, and not at all in the case of stand up paddle boarding. Don't come to this resort with the mistaken impression that your teens will have lots of activities to keep them busy. All they have for teens is a small game area with chess, billiards, and table tennis.
- They had a guy spraying insecticide (bug spray) around the bushes at around 5 PM one day, resulting in huge clouds of poison in the main outdoor area, where many people are walking around. That's not cool - they should have done the spraying at other times, when people were not around.
THE UGLY
========
- There are WAY too few shaded areas near the beach. People in the Finest club with the special dark blue towels reserve all the best beach chairs in the central area early in the morning so nobody else can use them (and then, of course, they leave them empty for most of the day). The staff does not enforce the sunbed policy.
